Christmas in July

Last weekend the crew got away to Elliott Lodge to celebrate Christmas in July, an Australian tradition of celebrating Christmas in appropriately cold weather.

We went up on the Friday night and got burgers in Healesville, then started the fire in the lodge to warm us up, put up the Christmas themed decorations and played games as a crew through the evening.

On Saturday we stoked the fire back up and cooked breakfast, then had a business meeting to keep the crew running smoothly. We moved onto Christmas themed colouring, crosswords and word searches, once and for all proving that Rovers are really just big kids.

To finish our Christmas celebrations we had dinner with hearty roast vegetable whilst sitting around the fire.

All told it was a great weekend away as a crew.
