The crew had a great weekend up at Elliott Lodge, where we split firewood for the upcoming Main Scout Camp and for use by other campers throughout winter. We also moved the remaining larger logs that were in front of the woodshed under cover and stacked them so they can dry and be split later on. Before: After:
It’s been a busy year for the crew. We have welcomed 2 new members from 4th Kew Venturers into the crew. They have enjoyed getting involved in a number activities including rock climbing, paddle boarding, jack – o -lantern carving. We also welcomed Nick Pike who moved from Ria Warrah Rover Crew to Old Scotch.
We’d like to congratulate Elizabeth (Zabet) for winning the 2016 Christie Cross Award for “Outstanding Excellence and Superior Imperfection as a Rover Scout”.
