The crew headed up to Elliott Lodge this weekend to start working on Whisky Business, our new Mudbash car. Monday Looking at the forecast, we knew this Surfmoot was going to be a scorcher, so we brought along containers to freeze large blocks of ice to keep our food and drinks cold for the entire weekend. The crew had a blast at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort on Saturday as we hit up the cross-country ski trails with Rovers from around the state. Last weekend the crew got away to Elliott Lodge to celebrate Christmas in July, an Australian tradition of celebrating Christmas in appropriately cold weather. We went up on the Friday night and got burgers in Healesville, then started the fire in the lodge to warm us up, put up the Christmas themed decorations and played games as a crew through the evening.
